CERVARO DELLA SALA UMBRIA IGT 2023 CL 75

Castello della Sala is located in Umbria, a short distance from the border with Tuscany, about 18 kilometers from the historic city of Orvieto. The lands of the Castle, an imposing medieval manor, extend for 500 hectares, of which 170 hectares are planted with vineyards, at an altitude of 220 - 470 meters above sea level, among the rolling hills that characterize the beautiful countryside of these areas. The soil is mainly clayey, calcareous, rich in fossil shells, with vineyards well exposed to the rising sun and with excellent temperature ranges: that of Castello della Sala is an area highly suited to the production of whites. One exception: Pinot Noir, which finds in this terroir the ideal conditions to express itself at its best.
