CORTON-CHARLEMAGNE GRAND CRU CL75 D. CHEVALIER
This wine benefits from the Grand Cru appellation, which indicates an exceptional terroir and a draconian quality charter to follow throughout the winemaking process. This wine is 100% Chardonnay and produces 1,800 bottles. It comes from vines exposed to the south, allowing them to benefit from plenty of sunlight. The Chardonnay grows on vines aged between 10 and 40 years old divided into two plots representing 36 ares. Ideally, wait 5 years to fully benefit from the aromas. The vines of this Grand Cru de Bourgogne, from the Côte de Beaune, grow at an altitude of 330 m at the top of the Montagne de Corton, which makes it the highest of the great wines of Burgundy. This great lord is produced only in white and is a rare wine, highly sought after. The Corton Charlemagne wine offers a pale gold color, green reflections, very beautiful clarity and shine, it is a color typical of a young wine. On the nose the bouquet is sumptuous, all finesse and delicacy with primary floral, fruity but also mineral aromas as well as beautiful tertiary aromas of honey and cinnamon. On the palate it is a wine with a powerful attack, it evolves gradually in the mouth, its substance is dense, concentrated, the acidity is very noble and brings great freshness to the beautiful roundness of this wine. This acidity will allow the wine to keep for a long time in the cellar. The finish is wonderful and long on mineral notes. It will be excellent with fine fish or shellfish, such as sole, scampi, lobster
