Produced since 1761 in Lancashire, Bombay Sapphire contains ten natural ingredients, each of which contributes to enriching the complexity of this “superpremium brand”. Juniper berries harvested in Tuscany and coriander seeds from Morocco are used. But of all the ingredients, the one that most profoundly affects the final aroma is orris root. Gin is a strong, clear, typically colorless liquor produced by distilling grain, wheat and barley to which juniper berries are added. The name of the distillate comes from the name of the juniper plants that produce the berries. Juniper berries give the liquor a typical easily recognizable aroma and flavor.
