The third release in Diageo's annual Port Ellen releases, distilled in 1979 and bottled 24 years later in 2003, bottled at cask strength and limited to 9,000 bottles. Port Ellen is the lost jewel in Islay's crown. Closing in 1983 has earned this distillery an almost mythical amount of love and respect. As supplies dwindle in the land, these bottles become increasingly rare.
